How do I get to LFG?

The Bankstown Sports Club is less than 5 minutes' walk from Bankstown Train Station on the T3 line. Driving? Parking is free! Remember to validate your parking ticket at reception before heading home.

Which room is LFG held in?

The Main Event Area is held in The Grand Ballroom of the Bankstown Sports Club.

Other event areas are held in additonal rooms on level one as follows:

  • Australian Rummikub Championship: Competition Central
  • National Klask Championship: Competition Central
  • RPGs: Garrison Room
  • Protospiel: Boggabilla Room
  • Game Design Masterclass: Birdwood Room

Is LFG suitable for kids?

LFG is a family event, and gamers of all ages are invited to attend and have fun. As the Bankstown Sports Club is a licenced venue, any attendee under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Check out the available family activities.

What does the standard entry fee get me?

A standard ticket will get you access to the Demo Hall, Free Play Area, and the Games Library. Events like tournaments and Protospiel may have fees attached, and may require prior registration.

Can I run a tournament/D&D campaign/community event?

Sure! You can become a tournament/competition arbiter by applying as a volunteer. If you'd like to run a more specific gaming event at LFG, email us. We look forward to what you come up with!

Are you looking for volunteers?

Definitely! Head over to the Volunteers page for all the details.

I'm hungry/thirsty.

Us too! Luckily there are a range of options at the Bankstown Sports Club, so you don't even need to leave the venue! There will be a dedicated bar for responsible adults downstairs at The Inn.

Who's that person with the camera?

There will be an official photographer at the event to take pictures for promotional purposes.

If you don't wish to be photographed, that's okay - all you need to do is (politely) ask the photographer. (Please keep in mind that you may inadvertently appear in the background of some photos, but if you ask not to be the main subject of the photo we will respect that.)
